🍔 FOOD EXPLORERS REVIEW — HAMBURGUERIA, QUARTEIRA PROMENADE 🌊

Today I stopped at Hamburgueria on the Quarteira promenade to put their burger to the test.

The first thing I noticed was the atmosphere — nice setting, music playing, good service and, of course, that fantastic ocean view right outside. 🌊

The burger was BIG and seriously filling, and at €12.15, I thought it offered very good value for money.

It came with cheese, egg, bacon, lettuce, onion and tomato, with a tasty tartar-style sauce on the side. That sauce was particularly good with the chips — creamy, with some nice spices, and perfect for dipping.

🍟 But the chips deserve a special mention!

They were cut really thick, which can sometimes mean the inside isn't cooked properly. Not these ones. They were beautifully cooked all the way through — soft and fluffy in the middle, with a lovely crispy outside. Really enjoyable chips.

The one thing I felt the burger was missing was a good burger sauce. With all the ingredients already there, I found the burger itself just a little bland and think a proper burger sauce would have taken it up another level.

Overall, though, I enjoyed it. Good service, good atmosphere, ocean views, a very filling burger and excellent value at €12.15.

I tried the Texas burger, and there was plenty going on to make it an enjoyable meal. The burger came with a beef patty, melted cheese, thick, crunchy turkey-style bacon, caramelised onions and a combination of sauces that brought everything together.

The mix of textures was part of the appeal: the savoury burger, the crunch of the bacon and onions, and the sauces adding that extra flavour with every bite. It's the kind of burger that delivers a satisfying, filling meal without unnecessary fuss.

Chips accompanied the meal, and there was also the option of adding a side salad for those who wanted something a little fresher alongside their burger.
